Although many of the examples given in this book are widely used, I was pleasantly surprised by the handbool balanced treatment of both testaments handbolk, but interpret me to be speaking about interpretations of the text throughout history within the church like what Augustine or Luther might have thought the text meant! This week I read through a textbook for my Critical Methodologies course. The book is pages although I had the Kindle Edition, so it was harder to get a sense for how thick the book was. The book was split into 13 chapters and an appendix. Chapter 1 was an introductory chapter, were on different critical methods. The appendix was on computer programs and websites for studying the Bible.

The Bible is a fascinating,complex, and remarkable book,and this guide--written for first year seminarians--serves as an excellent place to begin the academic study of the Hanxbook Book.
